Workshops to Innovation
Challenging the unknown
brings us to the boundaries of our own limits. This is where cooperation is needed. I see myself as a creative force within a team and as the person who brings ideas together.
My workshops are an interdisciplinary approach and bring people with different perspectives together. I like to use methods of Design Thinking, for vivid interaction, for idea visualisation and to ensure an outcome at the end of the tunnel. Design Thinking is a very universally applicable process that involves understanding user needs, generating innovative solutions, and prototyping to refine ideas quickly.
#1: Create a (Demo of your) Product
Format: Product Innovation Workshop
Materializing the elementary UX of your product, together with your team.
When I worked for HDI TH!NX IIoT Campus, our partners approached us with the need to show their product on our campus. So, we came up with the concept oof product demos. The product had to be demonstrated in a condensed and self-explanatory way, end-to-end, for visitors who just pass by.
My role was to lead the design, the development and the manufacturing. I made workshops with the partners to set the design and build the demo in cooperation with SW engineers and video editors. Please contact me for new requests.
#2: Integration of AI in Windpower and Batteries
Format: Requirements Workshop
Starting the project collaboratively, with everyone going in the same direction.
The goal was to build an AI-driven monitoring interface in between operators, data-experts and insurance counterparts. Together, we went through all relevant scenarios and target processes, also used methods of Roleplay to get things going. In the end, we got all necessary project requirements and detailed workflows, leading to a comprehensive roadmap and aligned next steps.
„Amidst heated debates and diverse viewpoints, a remarkable atmosphere of the will to achieve something together emerged. This workshop vividly demonstrated how different perspectives can lead to innovative and sustainable solutions.” (Nino G., HDI)
#3: Risk management in Energy Storage Systems
Format: Business Innovation Workshop
Facilitating on Ideation Workshop on identifying possible business synergies and innovations in the field of risk management, together with TESVOLT and an interdisciplinary team from HDI.
Challenge
TESVOLT, a global leader in the production of battery energy storage systems (BESS), wanted to evaluate value-added services for its customers at the interface of IoT and risk management. HDI TH!NX was involved to help speed up the discovery process and create a multi-stakeholder view of business opportunities.
Solution
We designed a workshop to discuss and align various perspectives from strategy to product at TESVOLT as well as the risk consulting and underwriting expertise of HDI, resulting in:
▪ Common understanding of each party's drivers, challenges and vision,
▪ Discovery of 2 potential IoT based value propositions
incorporating an innovative insurance offering,
▪ Arrangement of a connection to a strategic partner within our network.

#4: Green Innovation within your company
Format: Competition / Event
Launching and facilitating Accenture's "Green Innovation Pitch"
Together with the umlaut sustainability department we develop an internal competition for all 5000 umlaut (part of Accenture) employees from the scratch to empower ideas and push the company’s sustainability goals forward. Besides quick fixes, three projects were elected to get further coaching and financial support for the implementation
